Beginning her acting career by appearing on The New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came in the form of her first role as Naevia in the historical drama series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress was a part of many television series during the past ten years which included Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. From 2016 Brandt has been taking on the role as Mazikeen in the series about urban fantasies Lucifer starring Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born in the city of Cape Town, South African. She moved to Auckland, New Zealand with her family in her late teens. Her professional career began when she was an actress in print commercials and print. Her work included sales and was also consultant in information technology before becoming famous as a fashion-model.
